IFG Companies Announces Christina R. Adan Joins as Manger of the West for Commercial Underwriting

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - IFG Companies has announced that Christina R. Adan has joined as an Assistant Vice President and Underwriting Manager for the West Region of its Commercial Underwriting Division. Christina brings almost 15 years of primary and excess general liability underwriting experience, together with a strong background in contract bind underwriting. She is based in IFG Companies' Scottsdale, Arizona office.

Her experience in leading underwriting teams, combined with her drive to meet the needs of producers while maintaining underwriting integrity and profitably, will serve IFG and its producers well," said Bob Linton, Chairman of IFG Companies.
Christina began her insurance career at Scottsdale Insurance Company, where she worked for eight years, advancing to Senior Underwriter. While there, she was responsible for managing several producer relationships throughout Florida, underwriting monoline general liability, property and package policies through contract bind authority producers. She also handled referrals for accounts exceeding bind authority levels. Thereafter, Christina spent almost five years as an Underwriter-Officer for the Excess and Surplus lines unit of XL Group. At XL, she managed underwriting relationships with several broker offices throughout the States of California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington. Following this, Christina returned to Scottsdale as an Underwriting Manager responsible for primary and excess general liability for Southern California. In that position, Christina led a team of eight underwriters and was responsible for the unit's profitability and for the professional development of those underwriters,
Christina attended the University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in mathematics.
