September 20, 2014
The Alamance Claim Association (ACA) was started in 1989 as an organization to promote the claim profession in the Alamance County-Greater Greensboro area of North Carolina. Its primary founding members; The Burlington Insurance Company, the former Bankers & Shippers Insurance Company and Seaboard Underwriters, sought to not only promote the quality and camaraderie of the claim professionals employed in the area, but to also support local organizations in their respective charitable missions. Since its creation, the ACA has given out over $150,000 to various charitable organizations and in educational scholarships.
